Many have learned that it’s just a lottery and hashing isn’t solving complex mathematical questions as initially spewed by the media. This is a better lottery than the power ball.
Many would love to mine Bitcoin not just to find a block, but to support the network and a chance at the lottery without the overwhelming costs of an ASIC and power. This is a better lottery than scam scratch cards and I will play it any chance I get.
The amount of excitement around Blockstream Jade’s ability to mine Bitcoin even though probability of finding a block is near impossible shows how much people would love a little plug and play miner. No matter the hashrate people will rush it and I support that. So many have just learned the concept of mining and hash rates from this little gimmick.
I think I have a better chance of finding a block with a Jade than winning the power ball.
Never played a lottery in my life but mining with a Blockstream Jade is the first lottery I have ever participated in.
