Alternate nostril breathing, known in Sanskrit as **Nāḍī Shodhana Prāṇāyāma**, is a powerful yogic practice designed to harmonize the left and right hemispheres of the brain by balancing the flow of prāṇa (vital life force) through the body's energy channels, or nāḍīs. This technique involves inhaling through one nostril, exhaling through the other, and then reversing the process, which calms the nervous system, reduces stress, and enhances mental clarity. By synchronizing breath with intention, Nāḍī Shodhana purifies the subtle pathways, promoting emotional stability, increased focus, and a deep sense of inner peace.
GRAND RISING from Pura Vida land NOSTR ☀️ 🦥
My sister told me to start saying Grand Rising, instead of “Good morning” as we’re sort of programmed to say good morning, similar to “mourning…” almost like we’re already ‘mourning’ the day… Grand Rising has a much better vibration to her 😄🌞🧡🌎🌊🧘♂️
So many blessings

To help the bearer find their way 🪬
In the Gospel of Thomas,
Jesus said,
“If those who lead you say to you, ‘See, the Kingdom is in the sky,’ then the birds of the sky will precede you.
If they say to you, ‘It is in the sea,’ then the fish will precede you.
Rather, the Kingdom is inside of you, and it is outside of you.
When you come to know yourselves, then you will become known, and you will realize that it is you who are the sons of the living Father.
But if you will not know yourselves, you dwell in poverty, and it is you who are that poverty.”

Through breath, through movement, through presence, we remember who we are 🌬️💗🧘♂️🫂😄

Any Shivambu practitioners here?
Good evening NOSTR,
My mom bought a wine lounge recently and they use square, so I was her first bitcoin transaction. Trying to get her set up and understand how to use it, and also get her set up with a cold storage wallet. So I am confused as to where this bitcoin went exactly… if anyone knows how to access her coin and then transfer it into a cold storage wallet for her and can let me know, that would be appreciated!
Many blessings
Good afternoon Nostr,
Please enjoy my little philosophy / stoicism rant.
God Bless You 🌬️💗🧘♂️😄
Viktor E. Frankl, the Holocaust survivor, wrote in his book, ‘Man’s search for meaning’
“Between stimulus and response there is a space.
In that space is our power to choose our response.
In our response lies our growth and our freedom.”
There is always an external response that is not in our control, but what is in our control is our response, and in that response lies ALL of our power. This is truly the greatest power that we have, to CHOOSE to respond in a loving, non-reactive, loving way.
This is the essence of Yoga, with Ahimsa being the first Yama in Patanjalis Yoga Sutras, Sanskrit for ‘Non-violence’ or ‘Non-harming’. Non-violence being in action, speech, and thought, starting with how we are speaking to ourselves. Everything starts from within first, within our own minds. Can we respond without aggression, even when triggered? What a practice…
This is what made Gandhi so powerful. He said, ““The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong.”
“An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind.”
This is the practice that put Jesus on a pedestal. “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.”
— Luke 23:34
“But I say to you, do not resist an evil person.
If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other also.
And if anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, hand over your coat as well.
If anyone forces you to go one mile, go with them two miles.
Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you.”
— Matthew 5:39–42
These are the most profound practices we can incorporate into our life, what can create the most peace, and provide the most love into the world. Making this a core practice in our life. One of the best ways to create space, is through our Breath. This is the awareness. Something happens, taking a deep breath, we are then creating space to respond instead of react unconsciously. Next time someone cuts you off in traffic… bring this awareness… and just notice.
What is the point of philosophy? To live a better life. Stoicism is something that really changed my life, changed my ways of thinking, therefore changed my reality. I started becoming obsessed with these ancient thinkers and tried to get inside their minds as much as possible. What’s the difference between you saying it and them? It’s all in the embodiment, anybody can pick these up and make them theirs, it’s all coming from the same place anyways. Pick a few quotes you like up, start repeating them in your mind, out loud, study it, embody it, and you’ll start to notice a change in yourself… in a more positive direction.
Get these thoughts engrained in your subconscious, and they becoming you. Carl Jung says, “Until we make the unconscious conscious, it will direct our life and we will call it fate.” He who masters himself masters the world. The practice of not letting external events affect our internal state… becoming the eye of the storm… turbulence can come and go around us, but nothing shakes what’s inside.
One last Marcus Aurelius quote I love… “Be like the rock against which the waves continually break; it stands firm and tames the fury of the water around it.”

High Victory is made… in those early mornings, when no one is watching…
A beautiful message this morning from my dear brother Alex Patterson, who runs CODE (The Church of Direct experience.) directexperience.org check them out. Doing some amazing work.
“…Stay alive, learn, study, think, read, build, invent, create, speak, write, dream, design…
…Stay alive with joy…”
You are encouraged to read the following poem from Virginia Wolf... simply tremendous and helpful.
“Whatever happens, stay alive. Don't die before you're dead. Don't lose yourself, don't lose hope, don't loose direction.
Stay alive, with yourself, with every cell of your body, with every fiber of your skin.
Stay alive, learn, study, think, read, build, invent, create, speak, write, dream, design.
Stay alive, stay alive inside you, stay alive also outside, fill yourself with colors of the world, fill yourself with peace, fill yourself with hope.
Stay alive with joy.
There is only one thing you should not waste in life, and that's life itself."
~Virginia Woolf
Ayurveda = “The Science of Life”
(Ancient wisdom from Ayurveda that’s been guiding human health for thousands of years)
These are 3 simple practices I use every morning to clear my body, sharpen my mind, and elevate my energy:
—
👅 Tongue scraping (with copper)
That coating on your tongue? Bacteria, toxins, buildup from overnight.
Scraping removes it so you don’t reabsorb it.
Copper is key ⚡️
It’s naturally antimicrobial → helps kill bacteria, not just move it around.
Result:
• fresher breath
• better taste
• stronger digestion
• cleaner internal signal
—
🌬️ Nasya (nose drops)
A few drops of oil in each nostril = game changer.
The nose is the gateway to the brain 🧠
This practice:
• clears sinuses
• lubricates + protects nasal passages
• reduces dryness (huge in modern life)
• sharpens mental clarity
• enhances breathwork + presence
—
🪥 Sesame oil pulling
Swish 1 tbsp for 5–15 minutes first thing in the morning.
This pulls bacteria + toxins out of the mouth instead of just masking them.
Benefits:
• deeper oral cleanse
• healthier gums + teeth
• eliminates bad breath
• supports overall detox
⚠️ Spit it out in the trash or outside
(not the sink—it can clog your drain)
