An interesting fact about Zaps is that those sats can encourage people to make and post contents with higher qualities and more attractive, which is exactly missing in many other social platforms. Although I'm already more entertained in Nostr than others, At least it's just a prediction in long time.

Is it technically feasible to have a soundcloud like platform on #Nostr? I'm eager to go for it. The only thing I'm aware is there would be a huge data layer to be synced through nodes which may cause no one to serve a node for it.

The first sensible difference between #ActivityPub and #Nostr for me is in ActivityPub you still need to connect to a specific single endpoint to read the feed and post. So if the endpoint is blocked then you are not able to read the feed without a VPN. But in Nostr you are connecting to many relays and the data is shared between them, So if a relay is blocked you can still connect to another relay without a VPN. Unless the bad guys use deep packet analysis to drop all Nostr related packets! Please correct me if I'm wrong.
