Vitalik taking a page out of Bill Gate's book. Investing in bio-defense. I'd love to find out more about this, but on the surface it's kindof hilarious considering Crypto's roots in libertarian values.

Hardware wallets are critical and best practices for using them should be promoted and well understood. Unfortunately no one uses crypto enough to care. When mass adoption happens it will likely be custodial in nature and the security community will promote this.

This is why PoW is important, but I disagree that you can't be both SoV and economic rails. You just need to stop being distracted by fiat gains and get back to doing the hard work of engineering a protocol that scales. We also need a commodity backed stable... yesterday.
