Well, it’s quite different from what I expected although full of examples examples and examples of how mind plays games. Interesting.

Spent last 6 hours building the dumbest automated poster on nostr. And since I’m a n00b as far as programming goes, what would take some one 15-20 mins, took me that long. Am I proud of it? Not really, but I’m quite happy and elated with the little progress I made. And now I have more questions than I had to begin with.

Good things take time. While I’ve always known this, it’s hard to find conviction when you’re in the “valley of self-doubts” while learning a thing and don’t seem to be making any progress and feel like an imposter.

I’ve had varying opinions about Zuckerberg over the decades. From impressive(“social network” induced) to treacherous (“Cambridge Analytica”) to wtf(metaverse) to “he’s onto something” (llama) Say what you will, I’m impressed with his conviction to go all in onto something that seems so ludicrous, and keep at it.

What’s your opinion on UTXO consolidation. As in, what should be the min/max limit as per you for consolidation. Say one has 10 utxos of 1 million sats, would you make it as one utxo of 10 mn or 4 x 2.5mn or let it be 10 x 1mn. There is no perfect answer really but just interested in knowing your opinion. Cause, while consolidating is a wise choice future-fees wise, it is not that great for privacy. Specially if the utxos are already compromised(sent from exchange for eg)

Last time I cheaped out on sats/vb, I had to wait months. Yes months. I promised myself I wouldn’t do that again. One more promise I couldn’t keep.

Consolidated some UTXOs. And although the mempool is not high fees(relatively speaking) today, I still put the txns at lower than low priority. It’s going to take a while!

You know how much more is our (humans) intelligence beyond that of a chimpanzee? ~ 1% What’s the thing, smartest of a chimp can do that we would call smart? A human can toddler can perhaps do better. Do we think we can communicate with them in a meaningful way? That’s with a difference of 1% Now imagine an alien race with intelligence 1% beyond ours. How audacious is it of us to believe that we would be able to communicate with them or understand their behaviour. Btw, this is from “the inexplicable universe “ - Neil deGrasse Tyson.
