This conversation has me thinking about the economics in Star Trek. In the future they have these machines called replicators, they create any and all material items. Money becomes obsolete. “Ownership” and “private property” fade away, what stays consistent is the idea of personal property. From that perspective think of a deck of Pokémon cards, what is more important, that you own those cards or those cards are personally yours?
