One of my many responsibilities at my job is to train new drivers to get their Commercial Driver's License. I've been doing this very successfully for 18 years. There is a shit ton involved, especially the last few years. I decided it was time for a small (and I do mean small) raise so I went and asked and I was told point blank no so I gave them a very generous 1 year notice for that responsibility. That was over 6 months ago. They finally got back to me and let me know that they were going to go with a person at my company that is a pompous prick that literally nobody likes to become the new trainer. So now I have to spend a month training this guy. It just goes to show you that your company doesn't give a fuck about you. If you died, they'd be looking for a replacement before your body was cold.
