After a couple of weeks of testing and polishing, I am super excited to announce that @Bitcoin Calendar is now live and fully automated, which means that if you follow this account on #nostr , you will never miss an important historical #bitcoin milestone.
I’ve worked on this project for years collecting, refining, arranging and archiving every important event. There are tons of enhancements ahead, so do not pass by — it promises to become a useful educational tool for those, who want to truly understand Bitcoin’s philosophy, reasons behind some decisions made throughout Bitcoin’s journey, and be more informed about what future may bring.
Let me know what you think 🙏

Tbilisi — where the future meets the aftertaste of the USSR

How do you guys balance your Nostr activity with your daily routine?
I struggle getting things done when I open a Nostr client — so many interesting discussions. And while being on Nostr helps me absorb new ideas and develop my own new takes, it slows me down in actually getting things done.

Vibe coding boom will get many end users in trouble.
While it is a huge leap forward that allows enthusiasts to bring their ideas to life, majority of the new apps will be built in a reckless way by clueless people.
At the same time building something that does not interact with user data while improving your project is a win-win.
For example, I finally managed to automate my 3 year old project @Bitcoin Calendar and it now automatically posts historical Bitcoin events to Nostr. I know the code is bloated and ugly, I don’t know (yet) how to fix this, but automation works and that’s good enough for now.
PRs welcome 💜 https://github.com/Bitcoin-Calendar/calendar-bot

A unique photo of a nostrich resting after trying to explain to his normie friends and colleagues why social media and communications are broken and how #nostr fixes this.

It’s crazy how people still think that fiat currency is the way to go, cause it “allows smart people to balance the economy”.
This is why we #bitcoin
