I miss the old Pablo, the thousand app Pablo
Write tens of NIPs Pablo, invent new things Pablo
I hate the new Pablo, the agent loving Pablo
The AFK Pablo, I hope he's cooking Pablo

never buying a domain again. publishing everything as nsites from now on. living rent free on nostr relays and blossom servers :ez::smoketime:
sick and tired of the uniform, vacuous, distasteful, unoriginal prose all over the place. like Anor Londo it appears grandiose, beautiful and polished but it's a lie, a dead and hollow façade.
language evolves through people using it and interacting with each other. new words are invented, old rules are changed or subverted, we amplify our conceptual repertoire and update our model of the world by speaking and writing. the word virus affects how we perceive reality and shapes it to some extent.
now an LLM writes your poasts, which is fucking obvious and lame. an LLM writes the software and the documentation, which is now unbearable to read for a human. people communicate via LLM produced text, they generate slop and others use their LLMs to transform that slop into something inteligible (a slop they are comfortable reading).
if language is sterile, human creativity and thinking can stall and degrade. the highly improbable and ground breaking thinking barely gets explored.
fuck this dystopia, i prefer an imperfect and genuine human "voice" over a perfect and hollow LLM garrulous slop. we must not delegate our writing and thinking to a cold, alien, probabilistic engine. writing IS thinking.

Berserk is one of my favorite works of fiction. Masterpiece.
Luke has 11 children, not the kind of guy that pulls out.
I used to believe in the IDEA of Bitcoin too. Watching the current internet war over BIP-110 or "pure" chains is exhausting. A religious war over a software protocol. It's ridiculous and out of touch with reality.
Bitcoin is not a messiah, it won't end central banking or dismantle the fiat monetary system. It's just a highly liquid, uncorrelated, asymmetric asset that you can hold without counterparty risk.
Use the tool to protect you and your family. It won't save the world, but if used pragmatically it can save yours.

Bitcoiners have not read Don Quixote and learned the bitter lesson.
They don't view the world as is, but as it ought to be. To them, a network protocol is a crusade for human freedom. Despite being delusional and constantly defeated, there is a profound, tragic nobility in refusing to compromise your values. Idealism is infectious. To the idealist, surrendering the ideal and accepting the mundane, cynical reality is worse than death.
The idealist is doomed to fail in the real world. Paradoxically, a world without idealists is a hollow place.
At the end of the day Bitcoin is just a tool. Be pragmatic. Use it to improve your life. Don't make it your identity or personal crusade to save the world. Don't waste your time and energy fighting windmills thinking that they are ferocious giants.
