Bitcoin and Lightning are so insanely cool as technology, culture, economics and politics, I just wish we could all use it more often. 🥲
In just one hour, I downloaded enuts, deposited some sats, launched my own mint, connected it to enuts, sent some tokens to friends and swapped from the default mint to my own. And already others are using my mint, too!
The last few times I got a prepaid debit card with Bitcoin, I regretted it. Feels like just a bit less than a year ago they were much more reliable and more widely accepted. Actual Bitcoin adoption can’t come fast enough for me.
I made it to five different Lightning merchants in a day, all while walking around near my home. What an amazing community, come visit us in Vancouver, BtC!

I have changed my opinion on this topic every few years, but at the moment I believe banking and bitcoin cannot be reconciled and will remain separate networks until one of them dies. There will be synthetic bitcoin on the banking side and synthetic dollars on the bitcoin side.
