Im having some good results lately! I have 3 shoeboxes which have some pins starting to pop off! The names of varieties are pretty funny: The smallest pins: Natalensis Theoretically this is not cubensis, but it is very, very similar. Next one: TAT (True Albino Teacher) Someone found an albino in a batch of golden teacher (the classic) and now this is the starting point for a lot of genetic crosses. Last one: Leucitic Jedi Mind Fuck Im pretty sure this is a variety which has TAT in the family tree. You can tell they have a bit of a similar look to them. But Leucitic != Albino, so I dont know how that happened? Thanks for listening in Nostr. Hopefully you enjoy the pictures. Pretty excited about the possibilities. My MilkV Duo is coming slowly from China but it may be the next SeedSigner HW 🤞. Seedsigner doesn’t know this yet, but that’s how FOSS goes.

Oh Zap! This is what a spore syringe looks like after it has germinated on a petri dish. You can see that there are a large number of distinct colonies which are all competing against one another. You have a lot of options to choose from here (I had about 3 plates which looked like this). What I do next is then use a scalpel to extract the edges of clean and vigorous looking colonies and move them to another dish to grow out further. We call this the T1 generation. In order to save time and plates I did 3 transfers to each new plate. Starting at the T2 generation, I will only do a single transfer to each plate. Someone sung to me to praises of the WEBP image format, so I've started to upload all my images in that format (500kB vs 5MB for these images). Let me know if you cannot see the images.

I did a talk last week about merchant tools for accepting Bitcoin and Lightning at Denver BitDevs! This was my first time in front of a camera and giving a talk (at least in a long long time).
