Collected some scrub oak acorns back in September. I put them in a moist verm/coir mix about 6 months ago, and placed in the fridge. When I checked today they all had sprouted. Transferred them to individual solo cup pots for further growth!

Rate my node hardware setup: This Celeron board from SeeedStudio. DIY UPS using a lead-acid battery 64gb internal storage for the OS 2TB nvme m.2 SSD for blockchain, node, bitcoin stuff NEW today: 256GB SATA m.2 SSD. I just mounted /var and /opt onto this drive so I don’t run out of room on my tiny OS drive #hardware #bitcoin

My wife sent me a picture of our cat on a bed last night and I was wearing my AirPods and Siri told me “someone sent you a picture of a cat on a bed”. SUPER CREEPY! I didn’t turn that AI on!!! Tried some additional pictures and it didn’t read it out to me, but just putting that PSA out there.

Went to the brewing shop to return my wine bottle corker. Talked to the owner and discovered that because this brewing shop also sold #mushroom spores, one day, randomly, Mastercard, closed their account for the entire business. Luckily they had a backup option, which I won’t mention….. This is why we #bitcoin so we can provide value to the people around us, without fear that we will get rugged by the banks just for doing legitimate, consensual, commerce.

Petite Syrah wine bottles today! Couple months ago I bought the handheld corker because I thought I’d save some money but it was dogshit! My back was in pain and the cork job was terrible. Went out and rented a floor corker and in half the time and effort I got all 24 bottles corked! Drank a couple mason jars of the wine with family today and it turned out decent enough for first wine! 👌🏽

@mleku Running Coracle! Discovered that about half of my relays were rejecting my notes for whatever reason. Added more relays, but I am not confident I have fixed it.

Sometimes I wish I had a more normal business/product. I could still accept Bitcoin, but I could accept fiat, and dump ads on instagram and facebook, and not feel like I am a criminal.

My CashApp and Credit Card payments has been shut down by CashApp! It lasted a whole 24 hours. I always wanted to run a bitcoin only business, but I wasn't really getting hardly sales, so I tried to cheat and use the legacy rails. Glad #bitcoin can't shut me down!

I think I fixed my zaps. I was attempting to test it by zapping myself from a secondary account. Had to add multiple accounts to my Alby extension. In the process somehow I cloned my entire profile to my secondary account. 😵‍💫 Thoughts: 1. Super weird that primal web app doesnt have a log out button. In order to switch account you just have to refresh the page after updating your settings in Alby. 2. I now understand how people with Metamask get hacked all the time. Alby asks me to approve stuff constantly, and I don't always know what I am approving or why. @primal @Alby

Just got CashApp Pay (CashApp + Credit Cards) working on my site! As much as the name implies, I am really focused on the Bitcoin payment experience, but unfortunately trying to build a sustainable business by living in a niche hobby within a niche hobby (bitcoiners who are interested in mushroom cultivation) is not going to pay the bills. Now I can actually do some more traditional marketing to normies, and incept #bitcoin into their consciousness by offering discounts for #payinginbitcoin.
