The problem with Nostr is that it lacks diversity. In fact, Nostr is too "Bitcoinish" AND "American". If we manage to have more cultural diversity, things will start to get interesting and the @Scale step function will be achieved. Bitcoin's success started when it burst past the cypherpunk niche. Same is needed for Nostr.

I'm drastically reducing my coffee intake in the following weeks; basically going from 3-5 cups a day to 1 cup (in the morning) First day was tough as I experienced serious headaches that lasted until the 2nd day when I had my morning cup of coffee. It's not normal to have such a dependency on coffee. Some beverages like coffee and alcohol are so normalized we never stop to question their relevance to our mental and physical health.

I'm starting to suspect that the overnight price surges are more important than the numerical price itself. BTC quietly hovering over 100K$ and it's barely getting any attention from normies. People probably need to wake up and realize they could've made huge gains had they just bought into bitcoin a few days before. Exponential price surges could be the psychological fishnet we need to make people pay attention to bitcoin.

If you're in the IT industry, you know that MicroStrategy's product is utter shit and nobody's using it anymore. No one's talking about this simple fact in the bitcoin community, which is indicative of the hers behavior and lack of PoW. To invest in a company just because its CEO discovered some financial engineering glitch prompting its stock price to go up is beyond me. I'm old school. I invest in things that have tangible value for me or others, not just NgU. That's why I'm 100% bitcoin. The only thing that has value for me.
