What is OPERATION BITCOIN? There are approximately 16.5 million military veterans in the United States, with 200,000 transitioning to civilian life each year. These veterans are seeking purpose, community, a new mission and are looking for opportunities for post-military service. Many military veterans face challenges when transitioning to civilian life and have access to inadequate support from government programs and existing non-profit veteran service organizations. Additionally, some veterans may lack knowledge and resources to navigate emerging technologies like Bitcoin. The absence of a dedicated program that addresses these issues creates a gap for veterans seeking to continue serving their communities and the world in a way that is purposeful and mission oriented. Fortunately, military veterans bring a unique and valuable skillset to the mission of global Bitcoin mass adoption: • Mission Focus • Self-Discipline • Technical Skills • Loyalty • Leadership Skills • Resilience • Trainability OPERATION BITCOIN is a Nonprofit organization that offers a comprehensive educational program that equips military veterans with the knowledge and tools necessary to understand, engage with and teach others about Bitcoin and its larger impact on personal freedom and individual sovereignty. Our solution includes the following components: Educational Programs • As a Mi Primer Bitcoin light node, deliver in-person and online courses tailored to veterans, covering Bitcoin basics, wallet setup, transaction execution, and security best practices. • Offer mentorship and coaching services to guide veterans through their Bitcoin journey. • Conduct workshops and seminars in partnership with veteran organizations, colleges, and other institutions. Community Building • Connect and engage veterans in the @Bitcoin Veterans network, a fast growing Bitcoin centric community of military veterans on a mission to continue service to humanity. • Organize regular meetups, networking events, and conferences exclusively for veteran Bitcoiners. • Facilitate partnerships with existing veteran organizations, enabling veterans to collaborate on Bitcoin-related projects. OPERATION BITCOIN aims to bridge the gap between military veterans and the world of Bitcoin by providing specialized education, fostering a supportive community, and empowering veterans to find purpose through engagement in the Bitcoin mission.
