Our last frigid morning yesterday, it's 30 degrees warmer this morning. Of course the animal waters were in need of filling and the line was not thawing at the coop. I figured out to fill a pair of half barrels in the bed of my truck and drove them over to the troughs. WAY WAY easier than other options. #WorkSmarterNotHarder. There is something weird at Norfolk Naval yard, a pair of submerged ships on the aft of a submarine... WTF!? #4nationshockey is killer. Our week of actual winter is coming to an end as the snow/rain is inbound htis weekend. The creek has some really nice ice built up in it though thanks to the sub zero temps. Part of the creek is a glass smooth sheet of ice that almost mandates skates to move on it. Modding my K1C more and swapped the hinges out for the full opening geared ones which makes life much easier and safer for the door and printer. I DID fight with the damn thing for hours trying to get teh damn filament to feed correct after the first few layers. I figureed it out eventually. 4 Nations hockey started with a great game and hopefully they are all as competitive, which they should be considering it's the best players in the world. #homesteading #3dprinting #diy #hive #peakd #dailyblog

We are in the cold part of Winter now, finally. It took it's sweet damn time. 10F yesterday morning and 0F this morning. We're looking at negative temps the next nights. Honeycomb Storage Walls are badass and with them installed in the bathroom the sink area is now WAY nicer, organized, and easier to keep cleaned. Finally some snow this "winter" and a week after I got the snowblower out in preparation... 3 whole inches made it actually a bit difficult to run the blower around since it kept picking up gravel, sticks, and pine cones so I had to keep the front up a bit. The snow is stupid light and fluffy so I could mob around in high speed with no bogging down. Great 8 is just 16 goals from breaking Gretzky's record and he should do it this season for sure.
