If bitcoiners want deflationary currency, why dont they just burn coins every block? Because they want cult of 4 years cycle where they celebrate expected price spike.

Bitcoin hodlers do not understand value of stable currency. They are blinded by the expected price spike every 4 years. The same thing that makes bitcoin unusable as a currency.

Bitcoin halvings introduce price instability. Stable currency needs not only predictable supply schedule, but infact linear supply. ッ
