Morning Nostriches
This mornings pond report is there is a center area that is not frozen over yet. I’d bet we freeze solid in the next few days though. Hopefully we get so cold this year you can ice skate on it.

I live on 14.5 acres in Amish country in Ohio. I have raised chickens, turkeys, ducks, rabbits & sheep. I’ve planted cherries, hazelnuts, peaches, mulberries, paw paws, apples, pears & nectarines. I garden (badly) but I am learning more every year. I work remotely for a bank as a mortgage underwriter- fingers crossed I am still doing that when you read this.
I hunt on my land - have gotten 5 deer since I moved out here. Into everything homesteading.

Morning pond report is this is it! This is the snow I have been waiting for! Took a bunch of extra pics, some from inside, some from the only place on the deck I can walk. Imma have to shovel this off later. I love snow globe season

Morning pond report is snow & lots of it! Didn’t think I’d get a pic like this this year, but this is shaping up to be a glorious winter.
Video was taken from the hunting blind yesterday, it was super windy so I videoed the other side of my view which is the pond.
