I just applied for a job and got it. Come to find out, it will entail an 18% pay cut. Despite this, I am still taking the job. This is because it is more convenient for me and gives me value in other ways besides pay. Quantitative (Keynesian) economics would not have concluded that I would turn down the job. The school operates without considering human action. Human action is everything.

Beware of a deflationary period on the horizon. Recently my wages were increased by a dollar. Come to find out that my employer took away paid lunch period. Now I earn less money/week. It was sneaky, yes, but I am sticking with the job, for those who have too much pride over wage cuts will be the same people trapped in the rampant competition for available jobs at lower wages than before.
