University professor- "a dollar today doesn't buy you what it did in 1980 because things have gotten more expensive." This type of framework is so disingenuous coming from someone with a PHD and who is supposed to be a professional. Econ is supposed to be a form of social science. Yet, the type of science we are taught is similar to someone saying the sky is blue because when we look at it, our eyes receive blue wavelengths of light. The answers are half answers and they get away with it. Explaining what is not explaining why. This is how the brainwashing mechanism works. Speedy curriculum, memorization, surface level thought, until eventually when it is time to think deeply in a career your whole framework is fucked.

Gm, I haven't found any Austrian econ literature at my school, but I have found these. Confirming my "biasies" by simply observing reality.

For the first time since WW2 the US gov't has managed to accumulate a debt to gdp ratio of 120% When it happened after WW2 we had men and resources which came back home and stopped being destroyed and started being utilized in a productive way. We clawed out of it. Now on the other hand there is no situation where the U.S gov't can produce the revenue to pay for the debt, while maintaining it's budget. There have been 51 cases in which countries have reached this debt to GDP ratio, with a couple exceptions. Every time it has resulted in hyperinflation or default. The beast is cornered. To avoid default, hyperinflation or Bitcoin adoption are it's only options. Luckily the government employees are too high time preference and ignorant to choose the latter. Get your wealth out, short the dollar, earn Bitcoin.

I care deeply about my friends and family. I assume we all do. I've known so many people whom have worked hard throughout their lives, but still barely manage to stay above water in regards to their financial freedom. How can I convince the people I care about to invest in a better future with bitcoin? I wish not be perceived as a evangelist, however I would prefer this rather than being someone who got lucky or was greedy. I want those I care about to come with me. I am looking for advice on how I can move forward without guilt.

Would I have been able to realize what Bitcoin is, how it changes everything, and that I need to work hard to get it, without knowing that other people already were thinking that way? I don't know. With that I am greatful for the most open minded; the Bitcoin pioneers who had the courage to be first. I hope you all were rewarded with cheap sats. Lastly, I'm thankful for the communication software that allows me to hear from people who think like me without being censored via algorithms.

The Lego movie was based on reality. The world is most beautiful when the master builders can create freely. When there is no kragle.

image I am trying to get the dean of my college to allow me to have an asterisked degree title. Economics "with an Austrian econ minor." I decided an essay would be the best route.
