Re-watching silicon valley Decent show and all, but the way pied piper harps on their proprietary algo and "intellectual property" - makes me angry. Intellectual property is the bane of technology. Tried to sign up with a throwaway email by simplelogin.com My signup was rejected. And I m glad. I didn't want to participate in this anymore. I don't really miss twitter and think elons takeover has resolved exactly 0 problems of the underlying architecture. The future belongs to open protocols - like nostr.
