Yesterday night, two innocent lives were taken in Heipang, Plateau State Two souls silenced in the darkness while the world sleeps And yet, even in the face of this pain, this blood, this endless loss, there are still voices that will rise to deny it NO GENOCIDE Voices that will look away, that will pretend not to see, not to feel, not to acknowledge the tears of a grieving people How many more must fall before the truth is no longer ignored How many cries must rise into the heavens before the world listens This pain is real These lives mattered image

Why… why does it have to be like this, especially on a day meant for life, for hope, for resurrection On this very day of Easter, when we are meant to celebrate victory over death, the sound of grief rises again from Mbalom, from Gwer East, from the hearts of innocent people whose only desire is to live in peace Seventeen lives… and still counting Families torn apart Homes reduced to ashes Voices silenced Children missing Mothers crying into the night What kind of pain is this that refuses to end What kind of darkness keeps chasing light even on a holy day like this Oh God, where are the answers Why must your children keep suffering like this Why must blood speak louder than prayers in our land My heart is heavy beyond words I weep for every life lost I ache for every mother who will not see her child again I mourn for every family left in silence and fear Lord, please receive the souls of the departed into Your eternal peace Wipe the tears of Your people Comfort the brokenhearted And let Your justice rise, because this pain is too much for human hearts to carry On this Easter day, instead of songs of joy, we cry Instead of celebration, we mourn But even in this darkness, we hold on to You, Lord Because You are the only hope we have left May Your light find Mbalom May Your peace find Benue And may this suffering not be in vain Amen 💔

It’s Easter Monday and I want to speak some deeper truths. Moses went up the Mount Sinai and saw God (Exodus 33 vs 18) Thousands of years later, Elijah went up Mount Sinai and saw God. (1 Kings 19) Another Thousand years later, during the Transfiguration, Jesus went on the Mountain and saw both Moses and Elijah and discussed with them. The disciples described Jesus face as like the Sun. He looked like a God to them. (Mark 9) This means that Jesus existed outside the concept of Time and Space and was communicating with Moses and Elijah in their respective time. To Moses and Elijah, they were on the mountain speaking to God in their respective time. Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. Keynote from this: Moses represented the Law, Elijah represented the Prophets. Jesus is the fulfillment of the Law and the Prophets.

As we reflect on Good Friday, we're reminded of God's immense love. 'It is finished' (John 19:30) - not just a moment of defeat, but a declaration of victory 🙏. May the sacrifice of Christ inspire us to love without limits

".... Behold, now is the acceptable time: behold, now is the day of salvation." (2 Cor. 6:2b) Now is the time to make peace with God. Remember, sin is either addressed now at the cross or at future judgment. The choice is yours. Happy Sunday!

Another mass burial today… in Reverend Ezekiel's village, Riyom. Just two days ago, Fulani herdsmen came two lives gone, many left broken and bleeding. Tears still flow… hearts still ache… and the soil is yet again soaked with sorrow.

Another Christian church in Nigeria 🇳🇬 destroyed by Fulani militants 😭 These are photos of St James the Great Catholic Church in Adu, Taraba. Just constant terrorism against Christians.
