Bought some eggs on-chain last week for the first time. Payed $4 in fees. Asked the farmer to send a lightning address next time. That inspired him to figure out a lightning wallet so this week I’m paying via lightning for eggs and breakfast sausage. 👌 #Bitcoin

What is the benefit of mining #bitcoin vs just buying it? To mine, you need a lot of capital and you may miss out on large gains. Just don’t see the value in that kind of effort? Maybe if you have a super cheap energy source than it is cheaper to mine it? Have a friend that is looking at investing a large amount into it from a gas well in Alberta (cheap energy). There’s risk in our gov’t in shutting down mining too. Non-Kyc is a benefit but you can do that in other ways - just tough to do large volume I suppose.
