Something interesting I noticed the other day: The halving will also mark one full year since the mempool last cleared.

Imagine you're out at the horse races for a weekend. The same horse seems to be winning 75% of it's races, yet the odds for that horse on the books are shockingly low. You ask someone next to you, "Are you betting on that horse?". They turn and say, "No way! it's too young, it doesn't always win. I've been betting on an old horse for years now and look at me I'm still standing." This is Bitcoin. The fastest horse not on any ticket.
