“Ok guys one more thing, this summer when you’re being inundated with all this American bicentennial Fourth of July brouhaha, don’t forget what you’re celebrating, and that’s the fact that a bunch of slave owning, aristocratic, white males didn’t want to pay their taxes.”

@nat brunell
Started chatting with a random guy today. He mentions something about a woman (not named) stating that unemployment has flipped from a few states to something like 48. And I’m like (cause I’d totally herd the episode with Danielle DiMartino Booth), “wait a second, coinstories? Natalie Brunell?” And he was like “yes!” And I was like, “BITCOIN!?” and he was like “YES!” So epic how Bitcoin makes instant friends out of they who were strangers only moments before.
Thanks for all you do Natalie!

“If there are any persons who contest a received opinion, or who will do so if law or opinion will let them, let us thank them for it, open our minds to listen to them, and rejoice that there is some one to do for us what we otherwise ought, if we have any regard for either the certainty or the vitality of our convictions, to do with much greater labour for ourselves.” -John Stuart Mill, On Liberty
“Both teachers and learners go to sleep at their post, as soon as there is no enemy in the field.” -John Stuart Mill, On Liberty
(enemy here being someone who tests your opinions and ideas rather than the forever war enemy of violence)
