Working on the relay has been the most exciting thing in recent months. I love reading each NIP carefully and trying to ensure that the relay scrupulously follows the specification. For now, I’m loading events into memory in a strfry style, but I’m obsessed with performance and want something even better. Nostrcheck-Server will be complete (at least what I always envisioned) with the next version. The upcoming version of nostrcheck server (0.7.0) will feature a built-in relay, seamlessly integrated with the existing module manager and fully manageable through the server dashboard. This new relay module is designed to work in harmony with all the current features, including NIP-05, file hosting, invitations, LN payments, WoT plugins, etc. You’ll be able to run a dedicated relay for each configured domain, each with its own unique settings. The possibilities are endless. Soon 🤓🥳

GM, I share the criticisms of Bluesky, but those of us hosting media for Nostr also have to ‘censor’ tons of garbage uploaded by degenerates every day. The difference with Nostr is that anyone can host their own relay and file server.

Merge of BUD-06 into Blossom 🌸 , which introduces a new endpoint to verify server requirements before initiating an upload, saving time and data for clients. This is also a necessary first step towards the BUD-07 proposal (Paid storage). Nostrcheck-server is compatible with this improvement
