❤ Bitcoin is like the internet. A mostly free tool (need electricity and a computer to access) that nobody controls and allows people to communicate value directly peer to peer anywhere anytime. It’s like Venmo without fees and semi anonymous. Britney Spears was rumored to have used it during her conservatorship and lots of people in huperinflating parts of the world use it to store value or cross borders to create a new life. People in rich countries don’t understand it because they don’t usually have these problems… until lately, after 2008 when banks were bailed out but people lost their homes, and now the US has high inflation and more capital controls too, that’s why Sony is building an exchange and Dell is rumored to be investing. Tony Hawk owns and holds it, Tesla and SpaceX hold it, mark Zuckerberg from Facebook even named his goats Bitcoin and Max.
Incredible #BITCOIN interview with @Michael Saylor thanks!
Money is speech. #Bitcoin is free speech.

Excellent account from a survivor, worth a listen to appreciate history and to identify the possibility of such things repeating.

An unexpected benefit of using Robo taxis or owning a fully self driving car might be that they cannot be stolen. The driver is no longer the weakest link in terms of response time and quality, but also someone that can be coerced and stolen from directly. Imagine the car that protects you better than the police can.
