Digging the new iPad Mini, grateful for the update. It's the only iPad I've ever found useful in my workflow.

I'm making my way through the classic Paramount Monster Movies. What better month than October? Anyway, one of the things I notice the most is brevity in storytelling, and how we've lost it. Some of these movies didn't age well, but others are absolute masterpieces. BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN (1935) is 75 minutes long and tells a more complete story than most modern films in double the time. Be brief. Get to the point. If you actually have something to say, it won't take long to say it.

The Musgrave 600 News is like the Sharpie of pencils. Larger core and very soft. It’s an excellent writer, but man have I mangled them with my standard sharpeners. Ordered a $10 sharpener for pastels, hoping I stop the waste. I know the larger core has to be a problem though.

I love Fall, but my sinuses sure don't like the gettin' there.
