Bitcoin ambivalent.
Seems like conversation around AGI has cooled significantly over the past year or two, making public discourse a little less dumb. So thatβs something.

This is the worst time of year to live in Illinois. Constant 30+ degree shifts, tearing up the sinuses. EMS calls go on the rise, as do deaths at the change of seasons.
I am constantly sick. Good news is: only a month to go!
The MacBook Neo is what I always wanted an x86 MacBook Air to run like. But they were always terrible.
Standard problem with Ditto, same problem I've had with other clients, seemingly fixed on Primal (finally): After scrolling to a certain point, the feed just populates my own posts. If I've been gone for eight hours (sleep), no way to see what I've missed overnight.
GM. Chrism Mass today, my 20th one or something ridiculous like that.

Was thinking earlier today about Nodaway County, in northwestern Missouri. It was the strangest place I've ever lived, and I've lived all around.
It was unfriendly to the extreme, outside of Maryville, the county seat and university town. I was an outsider, and made to feel like it constantly. It was like an old cliche of the frontier west, where you were never quite sure if you might have to shoot your way out. I learned out in Nodaway that "Who are you and what are you doing out here?" isn't really a sentence. It's a look some people know how to give.
I survived it, but it's on a very short list of places I'd never return to.
Illinois makes it to the Final Four! At least one of my teams is halfway decent.
Four of the Elite Eight teams are from the Big Ten. Too bad Nebraska (my native land) couldn't get there, but glad Illinois (my alma mater) made it.

50 years ago today. Only one thing to do.
Getting in shape becomes a kind of addiction after a while. A healthy one, but an addiction nonetheless.
The hardest part about intermittent fasting isn't the hunger: you get past that in about a month. The hardest part is the dehydration: with my 40/8, I need to drink about a gallon of water a day.
I fail at this. Daily.
