Can we please have a bugfix for this 'Bitcoin core' spam attack - abusing this oversight in consensus rules. That's all that is needed to plug the hole and stop nodes from spamming bitcoin with non monetary transactions. Until then - Everybody who can install software: Run Knots

In the space of just a couple of days, 'bitcoin core' ran up close to 300 nodes with its latest version. Wanna bet all these 29.1.0 nodes wont turn on v30 fast? This is a wrap. Core has been compromised for a long time.

With 'core' v30 nodes online there could be child sexual abuse material on every bitcoin node. Then it's just a matter of declaring such a server illegal and bingo you head towards a centralized bank.

If enough big names are with us and it becomes obvious that v30 is core's demise, we just fork to prevent any chance CSAM getting on chain. Blocks with OP_Return sizes >~80 bytes are rejected. From Andreas Antonopoulos:
