Not to mention, the co pay in most 🇪🇺 European countries if you're a student or expat who's freshly moved onto social healthcare is MASSIVE too. So, basically the healthcare industry 🤝 insurance 🤝 social govts 🤝 democratic govts = to fuck you, the premium payer or the sick person, over. What can you do: ✅ Keep your insurance super BASIC - avoid premium options. ✅ Cash in Hand/Bank - keep a Medical fund of cash for emergencies. Make a separate bank account for it, if you have to, if you can. ✅ Make a Fixed Deposit or other such recurring deposit options of instruments that banks offer, to substitute insurance policies. ✅ Wrt the above, a $200,000 coverage policy on paper📜 is worse off than a $10,000 FD or equivalent. ✅ Ask for detailed charge explanations - it works and they're obliged to give it.
