I put a bunch of soaked date pits in dirt a few months ago. Mostly nothing happened after that. I didn't do any additional work. Just time passing. Then the pits start going zero to one, each at their own pace... It'll take five years to bear fruit. But I've done most of the work that's gotta be done.
