I just had a thought. When I was in 4th grade, we did a bug project. We had to catch and freeze like 20 different bugs. We then had to pin them out, research their scientific and general names as well as habitats and life cycles. In the 7th grade we had a leaf project. We had to collect several different leaves and pin them out, displaying them with some information containing scientific and general names, locales, different things the trees were used for. 2 of my children are in high school at the same rural, Bible Belt school system. They didn’t have to do these projects. Their teachers do not give them projects where they interact with nature anymore. What happened to our education system? Why did we allow such mediocrity to exist in our teachers? I am very thankful for the teachers I had and the education system that I grew up in! They allowed and even encouraged curiosity, reading, studying and learning.

I wanna say this was a powerful 5 minutes that I couldn’t agree more with. Give it a listen. As I wind down working 2 jobs all summer to stack enough to start a couple business ideas, @Jack Spirko fuels the inspiration to see it through. Chase your #dreams, eat #beef, learn about #Bitcoin https://fountain.fm/clip/bDpOcwyUCzxbBRInrpGq

Just a quick thought and an idea about #Bitcoin and the #plebchain power. (Also I am experimenting with these hashtags) 1) we describe the transition from fiat to BTC or vice versa as “on and off ramps.” In keeping with that idea I was thinking about highways and information centers as you get near areas of high traffic. That’s where you can pass along a great deal of information that can really help people new to the area. I will come back to this. 2) Fall is here or as near as I can tell festival, craft show, car show, outdoor event, orchard, winery season is coming to a close. Soon it will be pumpkin spice or apple cider time and cool air out with friends and family enjoying things where we live. We should be asking these mom and pop places selling pumpkins, or apples, or corn maze places if they accept #BTC. 3) Tying it all together, I want to #asknostr what they would answer if the business owner asked this question: I would like to learn more about how to do this as a business, where should I go to learn how? It made me think that we need information centers for the new people. Who should we steer people towards?

Ok, let me get this straight… The guy who came out in a military coup against Putin (right around the same time the CIA misplaced $6.2 billion in Ukrainian funding) announced where he was going to be, and then something terrible happened to his airplane out in the middle of nowhere, yet someone happened to get a video of the plane as it crashed to the ground? Seems plausible I guess. Nothing to see here, move along!

Bitcoin meetup at Lake Satoshi was a blast. Met lots of really great folks in real life. Get to a meetup, even if it’s not near where you live. Get involved. The people in this community work their butts off to have a good time while teaching the knowledge necessary to get off ZERO. Support them and the things they are doing. Now to figure out how to get hashing with the S9 I was given.

By Randy Pausch: Last Lecture This came as a recommendation by my 14 year old daughter. I haven’t finished it yet, but I have found it very inspiring, the story of a computer science professor who is diagnosed with cancer and has the idea to leave as much for his children and wife in his short time as he can! This is the proof of work. #bookstr #inspiration #agape
