I can really recommend to leave all legacy social media platforms. You'll thank yourself for the productivity, the longer attention span, and the freedom of mind from all that junk content.
I made the mistake almost two months ago of creating an X account again to connect with some people at an event. But it wasn’t worth it. I ended up getting drawn back into all those shitty conversations about politics and ragebait content. I wasted so much time and energy that I could have spent doing more productive things – like reading a book, enjoying my free time outdoors, or building meaningful relationships with people.
On Nostr, I've never felt that kind of addiction, because there's no algorithm by default. I usually spend about 20 minutes a day at here and rarely more than one hour. It lets me focus on what really matters in life. I'm truly thankful that I discovered Nostr one year ago and that so many brilliant people are creating such an excellent experience with clients like @primal @Satlantis: Social Events @Fountain and many more.
Legacy social media is like ultra-processed fast food. Nostr is real food like meat, milk and vegetables. Choose wisely.
