Initially I shrugged off the University of Austin as yet another private school. After it got mentioned by The Free Press today I gave it a deeper look. Impressed with the curriculum structure and the variety of minds tied to the school. Really cool.

A simple equation: more laws = more power for lawmakers It’s overwhelming to be a small business owner and attempt to comply with every law and regulation out there. I comply because I want to continue operating, but there is a greater than zero chance I missed something. Feels like there are lawmakers hiding in the shadows waiting for the perfect moment to pounce.

UX thoughts: Arrows are common in wallets. Yes, "Receive" means money is coming down to me. However, down arrow can also mean balance is going down. And where the button sits on the page, Receive is pointing away from my balance. I wonder if arrows are the right design pattern.
