#Nostore progress report 1: tl;dr - don't upgrade to iOS 18 if you depend on Nostore for using Nostr in Safari. If you already upgraded, might have to wait for Beta 2. Running the software locally, works fine on production versions of macOS and iOS. Running on iOS 18 is not working in the Simulator. I don't have a device with iOS 18 at the moment. That said, I'm unable to determine if this is an issue with the extension itself or Safari in general. Safari on iOS 18 appears to be very unstable. With nothing installed, Safari spikes the CPU to 100% and has trouble performing basic functions. I'm finding other reports of this online. I will continue to look into this and provide updates as I find things. If you're a person who needs a Safari web extension on iOS to access Nostr, I recommend waiting to upgrade to the beta for now.
