Remember that this is not the season of spending a lot of money to give an expected gift. It is not the season to run yourself ragged trying to please everyone. It is not the season of wearing thin emotionally because we’re obligated to make everyone else happy while forgetting yourself. Doing worthwhile/important things will take energy and effort and can leave us tired, in a good way. Remember that this is a time to be with family, to laugh, love and enjoy their company. It is a time to give without expecting anything in return. It is a time to remember that (even though Dec 25 is not when Christ came) Christ, God in human flesh, came to live a perfect life, bear our sins upon Himself and rise from death to life, giving us an opportunity by His grace through our faith to spend the world to come with Him. Let’s not forget the reason we come together as family and friends, brothers and sisters; to enjoy fellowship with Him and with each other. God bless you all and may your time together be wonderful!

Take advantage of every day you have with family and friends, love your neighbor, be a giver and not a taker, but also stand against evil atrocities, do not back down from demonic forces and be strong and courageous. No one said this life would be easy, or that you could get through it unscathed. Actually Jesus said you will have tribulation in this life, but to trust Him and be of good courage. Life is about relationships and experiences. Make the most of both. Do not leave this planet with unresolved regrets or leave unprepared. Life is not a game, and it goes by fast.
