Just shedding some light onto Nostr.build roadmap (in no particular order or commitment): - Frontend media serving refactoring: trying to further improve responsiveness, flexibility and video performance. - Backend database and API: refactoring the choice of technologies and attempting to completely remove RDBMS from the critical path. This should allow a much better scalability and performance, as well as a lot better flexibility and features release velocity. - Post-upload media processing: improve what and how fast we do it. This should further improve UX and enjoyability of the service. - Refactoring of the accounts web interface: Improve overall experience and change underlying technologies to allow for smoother and more customizable UX. - iOS app: an application to interact with your NB account. No specifics or concrete plans as of now. - Anything else that pops up from the above improvements.

Mood

Small update: Thanks to the improvements in the cloud(s), the large file(s) uploads for the nostr.build holders should be 3-4 times faster. This was part of the maintenance works that I’ve been doing while taking a Nostr sabbatical.

Seems like I gained more than a few followers in my absence. Thank you, and welcome! I’ll try to find time to do more shit posting and get some updates into prod. So far I have been keeping my eyes on maintenance and ensuring none of the nostr.build infra rots away or becomes insecure. Even if I am not present, it doesn’t mean I am not taking care of the maintenance. All is good and safe! 🫡🚀
