What are you doing on this day? I’m Re-reading @Aaron van Wirdum thegenesisbook.com for the second time. Preparing questions for Friday. Little Otis Sha is also wondering what is going on. Also ordered a bunch of them via Amazon. Unfortunately too late for our meetup.

Happy birthday #bitcoin, it’s been 15 years. You started as a test where some cypherpunks ran code. Turned out it worked well and stood the test of time. You’re delivering what you have been built for. A monetary foundation for all people. A better system for our planet. image

For 3rd Xmas day quiz and meetup in bitcoin city Arnhem the first orders for peer to peer signers, seal bags and thick backup papers are flowing in. Looks like people are planning anonymous seed generation to the max before new years. Love it when I see “I’ll come to you to pick it up a 3KD (3rd Xmas day), greetings anon” how do I verify? I just ask the order number 😉 I’ve almost ran out of Alu seedsigners. Plebs love them. Thanx for the PoW @Printer image

It was great to be in Antwerp again yesterday. At the Belgian bitcoin embassy end of year quiz I received the first prize. Dinner for our family at the restaurant where we build the miner installation to heat it. It’s actually amazing to see how much proof of work is in the Belgian community. Mining, education, real use of bitcoin and a lot of knowledge. I’m really happy we speak the same language and are able to strengthen each other beyond our fictive borders. I have been joked at as the typical Dutch tradesman always towing around my backpack with signing devices. But you have to understand as an official reseller, I still believe the best signing device buy is peer to peer. There is absolutely no trace, which is amazing. The people that have bought signing devices throughout the past year have helped my business do the work it’s intended to do. Proper bitcoin use for all, from mining to self custody in a privacy focused manner. People appreciate the deletion of data after ordering via our webshop and that we only accept bitcoin. We’ve seen thousands of visitors and over a thousand orders handled by our family. There were less mining installations I build personally this year, but more miners that were installed through my help in total. In the end this means we decentralized the network even more than 2022, which means I have been successful in my goal. My life goal is simple. Achieving a bitcoin standard for future generations. If i don’t achieve this I’ll have failed my children. In this stage of bitcoin I’m trying to decentralize the network further, ensure proper self custody and change the mainstream narrative of bitcoin by educating via proof of work.

View quoted note → We have submitted our part. It would hurt thousands of families in the Netherlands directly when a pow ban would be enforced. I would find it rather strange if that happens, they could learn from China in this respect. Banning will just set you back, whereafter you have to do a 180 once you understand this global phenomenon is not going to stop.

This day feels like Xmas unpacking. Received hundreds of bitcoin focus magazines to be distributed across the Netherlands and Belgium. Next to that I’m proud to be listing the aluminum @SeedSigner by @Printer in our webshop.

Curious to see if users of X switch to Nostr protocol when it gets thrown out of the app stores in EU. So we get into the “are you hiding a relay under your floorboard” phase. image

About half a year ago I gave my opinion on ordinals (from 45:00) (Dutch). It’s again relevant today. Coincidence is that ledger was a hot topic at that moment. It is once again.

Greenhouses need e-boilers that fulfill the function of grid balancers and heat source. There’s still potential in the Netherlands to grow the mining industry. image

View quoted note → We need to build sufficient examples so people understand we can have a monetary network that’s running on waste electricity while heating businesses and homes.

This early morning I woke up far before the alarm. Drove to the Supreme Court in The Hague where I will represent the United Bitcoin companies the Netherlands as a chairman vs the Dutch central bank. After winning the court case against unlawful cost that was put on the sector we’re today standing in court for the preliminary payout. As the Dutch central bank refuses to pay back the unlawful cost. In total we’ll face 10 people from the Dutch Central Bank. 3 lawyers from the most renowned Dutch country lawyers. 4 lawyers of the Dutch central bank and 3 people working at the central bank. You might say this lawsuit is becoming important.

View quoted note → It’s even worse than I thought. Happy we can be of service with open source | air gapped | bitcoin only alternatives. And where we delete your order data. We will be at the 3rd Xmas day in Arnhem and at bitcoin Eindhoven at the first Friday of January. So you can buy your signing device peer2peer. Which is even better.

At a solar farm we’re now heating a building with a whatsminer M60s. It’s the most efficient miner on our planet currently, running at 18,5 W/TH. The power consumption is ~3,4KW producing ~184TH. One aluminum case contains a generator grade foam that is sound dampening and fire resistant. The other has a bag filter for optimized airflow.
