It’s carnaval in the south of the Netherlands. Many friends have asked me to join the alcohol drown until you drop event. Some people coma themselves from Thursday until Wednesday. 7 days of maximum alcohol consumption. The week after the flu starts to spread and a peak in illness is shown in the national statistics. For me, i don’t attend carnaval anymore, I smiled seeing a low mempool fee. UTXO consolidation day keeps the doctor away 😉 I love how the wallet name just comes across the screen with the @Foundation passport. Next to that envoy works beautifully on my grapheneOS pixel 8. Sovereignty is ever improving. image

Just downloaded the new @primal and could create a wallet. It's the first time I couldnt find the Netherlands on the list. Normally I start my search at the letter N, when not found I go to T (from the) and after I go to D (Dutch) these are the country names that are used but searching at the letter K is something I never did. Nevertheless found the country name. @rabble which internet standard country list was used? you have any idea? image

A year ago we finalized multiple years of discussion about the cheapest and best way to securely store multisig wallets and backups. Just going back in my administration I found that our first 500 sealbags were bought in januari last year. Today we almost ran out. It feels really great to be able to supply plebs with cheap, but proper solutions. We’re proud to share that we’ve sold (and been giving away for friends and loyal customers) 463 sealbags this year. We just decided to restock another 1000 as the product orders are rising. We’re happy to see people double secure their backups and signing device in this cheap way.

Have you ever spend a working day in an immersion bitcoin mine? Can someone create a dripping version of the meme 😊 image

My phone often rings, but my favorite conversations are with the true bitcoiners. Working every single day to learn more and bring bitcoin further. This anon bitcoiner had a tiny issue with his @craigraw sparrowwallet setup using a multisig setup built with nunchuck that he loaded into his sparrow. Thankful for the proof of work I’m able to give to my fellow plebs. image

How are you celebrating the bitcoin spot ETF? This surprise (the best Dutch chocolate, whipped cream ball) was very welcome. Enjoy ✅ image

Here we go again, been almost 2,5 years. Moscow time dropping to magic hour levels once again. Probably @jack is quicker seeing this post on Nostr than on Xit.

Today the interview was completed by our team. They advised me to launch it on Spotify podcast and YouTube. I also got it into @Fountain is there any Nostr alternative to YouTube already? Now this interview is fully reliant on the servers of Google (YouTube) and Spotify… don’t know if that’s optimal.

The tiny seed is great. We’ve added it to our webshop. There are multiple benefits to the tiny seed. It’s small, it’s not directly identifiable as a bitcoin backup. It’s not directly scannable when confiscated. It’s a beautiful solution and we love Shamir’s secrets 😊

I would like to thank the Eindhoven meetup organizers for all the proof of work. Over 70 people joined us. Even some nostropians were hanging around in the physical realm. Most spend bitcoin and many thoughts about our future were shared. We’ve created a revived movement, decentralized across the globe. From @Aaron van Wirdum his book, my favorite quote: “Fundamentally, I believe we will have the kind of society that most people want. If we want freedom and privacy, we must persuade others that these are worth having. There are no shortcuts. Withdrawing into technology is like pulling the blankets over your head. It feels good for a while, until reality catches up.” Hal Finney image

My last preparations are the passages in the book that I picked out to share in my interview with @Aaron van Wirdum also I prepared a special present. I’ve had the book handbinded by a monastery bookbinder who has been doing his work for 40+ years. After the interview he’ll receive this special gift for all the proof of work he has done. I think it looks amazing. Nicest part, all this has been paid for with bitcoin.

My favorite orders are these. Why? You know it’s a self sovereign bitcoiner. Orders thick paper seedwords without any mark (self created by bitcoin Brabant, printer paid with bitcoin). Large seal bags, probably for the signers and small seal bags probably for the seedwords. A multisig to my heart. Very happy to see people secure their stash properly and being able to supply a part of that. image

What are you doing on this day? I’m Re-reading @Aaron van Wirdum thegenesisbook.com for the second time. Preparing questions for Friday. Little Otis Sha is also wondering what is going on. Also ordered a bunch of them via Amazon. Unfortunately too late for our meetup.
