Later this year we are planning to start offering plug and play nodes and payment servers. We are currently testing @Printer beauties. The ronindojo bokuto and btcpayserver enclosure. Hack0 hardware with 2TB for the node and 1TB for the @BTCPay Server. This hardware should last longer (~decade) than our raspis (1-3 years they only lasted). We’ve been testing quite some setups but these are real beauties, proper proof of work which i can really appreciate. The node took ~5 days to sync the bitcoin timechain. There were some issues with starting the plug and play btcpayserver, which we’ll solve soon. It’s great going through these testing cycles and be in toch with fellow pleb builders in Europe. I’m really happy to see the free open market is so decentralized. Can’t wait we start supplying more plug and play sovereign devices soon. We are most likely going to need them in the future.

Cut them from the garden 3 days ago and put them in water they open up really nicely for this Easter morning breakfast with the family. One of the best days of our lives turned into one of the shittiest. We were enjoying the mountains and my mom got serious heart problems at high altitude. It was sad because this marked the last time my parents were high up with us in the mountains. After this we decided to take a trip down. What is your passphrase best practice? Was asked about the following setup: @Foundation Passport, uses encrypted backup with SDcard. Access code to unencrypt is in physical distributed location that would take significant time to travel. SDCard only is a risk as it can burn/break etc. So the client uses a physical steel backup with 24 words, again a different location. On a different location holds the passphrase on steel. How do you rate this setup? There’s redundancy in both the SD Card, Steel seed phrase and steel passphrase. Do you think a double backup for the passphrase is required? It’s carnaval in the south of the Netherlands. Many friends have asked me to join the alcohol drown until you drop event. Some people coma themselves from Thursday until Wednesday. 7 days of maximum alcohol consumption. The week after the flu starts to spread and a peak in illness is shown in the national statistics. For me, i don’t attend carnaval anymore, I smiled seeing a low mempool fee. UTXO consolidation day keeps the doctor away 😉 I love how the wallet name just comes across the screen with the @Foundation passport. Next to that envoy works beautifully on my grapheneOS pixel 8. Sovereignty is ever improving.
