Over 300 merchants accept #bitcoin in Lugano! Just bought my second coffee with sats. Feel free to ZAP⚡️this note so I can have another coffee after lunch ☺️ ps - if you’re here, grab a coffee from the ERLKONIG stand outside. Sats go to the children of Julian Assange. #grownostr #nostr #plebchain #babechain
My mini “Corsication” was wonderful 🤗 Cheap ✈️ via EasyJet, split the hotel with my girlfriend, gorgeous beaches, good food, nice people… I don’t want summer to end. (The #ProofOfWork challenge definitely helped with my confidence on the beach 🏝️ 💪) #nostr #grownostr #plebchain #babechain image
Things don’t seem to change much. This clip is from 1979. We still have the same concerns about bureaucracy and information management. I quite enjoy insights from different eras.
GM ☀️ Happy Swiss National Day to my fellow Swiss citizens 🇨🇭 I came to this country in 2008, began the citizenship process in 2019, and became a citizen in 2021. I must admit that I take civics more seriously in Switzerland than I ever did in Canada. Perhaps it’s because I didn’t have to work for my Canadian citizenship whereas here, I had to take a series of tests to prove that I understand Swiss history and culture. #ProofOfWork - I have greater appreciation for things that required work vs. things easily acquired.
GM ☀️ Image 1: Painting of the Ethiopian Queen of Saba (Sheba). (Ethiopia) Image 2: Painting of the Ethiopian Queen of Saba (Sheba) & The Portrait of Doge in Catherine de Medici’s “The Green Study”. (France) Do you notice a difference in how the Queen is depicted?😂 While it’s almost impossible to verify history, travel to different countries to view history through multiple lenses is most insightful.
