Rental prices are so out of touch in my area! I thought I was gonna be able to buy a small condo within the next year. At these prices I’ll be renting a room like I’m 18 again!

Quitting alcohol on a regular or semi regular basis might have been the best decision I ever made. I will still have a drink or 2 occasionally. But my health has improved tremendously since cutting drinking out for the most part. Cannabis and 🍄 are such a healthier choice to ease anxiety or unwind than poisonous alcohol

The older I get the more retarded I feel and don’t think it’s safe for me at this age to wear headset on the jobsite anymore and speaker doesn’t cut it on this job 🤦‍♂️ How will achieve my #40HPW ? Might have to split off my engagement to make it happen…. The sacrifices we make…. 🤣

Be private. Accept the loneliness, fix your life. No one is coming to save you. Your life is your responsibility.

I almost posted a note with a lightning invoice for 100k sats incase anyone wanted to fund me not working OT on Saturday the day after my grandmother’s funeral. But I couldn’t bring myself to do that. Is that my conscious telling me it’s wrong? Or that I should skip the OT anyway to mourn? Or that I’m just an idiot for even thinking I should? #asknostr

We are very good at preparing to live, but not very good at living. We know how to sacrifice ten years for a diploma, and we are willing to work very hard to get a job, a car, a house, and so on. But we have difficulty remembering that we are alive in the present moment, the only moment there is for us to be alive. - Thich Nhat Hanh, Peace Is Every Step: The Path of Mindfulness in Everyday Life

Smashing my finger today bought back the memory from years ago when I was like 19 and was first getting into construction and cut off the tip of my pink finger bone and all lmao!!!! I was more angry than in pain when it happened, but after it got reattached and the numbing agent wore off…. The throbbing in that pinky was worse than any other broken bone I ever had, even more than when I fractured my neck or spine.
