Unsolicited advice for my fellow cypherpunks (and developers) on wanting to get credit for your work β don't.
The more used your work becomes, the more injustices you'll experience. If you fixate on injustices, you'll only feed the problem and end up limiting your ability to keep building.
I've been through plenty of dumb situations over the years, and one thing helped me push through is the mantra of: credit is in the outcome.
So focus on that β and if the outcome achieved is not enough to keep you motivated, find something that is, instead of creating a demand that others have to recognize or appreciate the work you've done.

Everyone wants to be a rockstar until it's time to be a rockstar.
gm - are you freeing yourself, or is your mind tricking you into running loops that lead nowhere?
gm, believing that you must act, or else Bitcoin will die, is the core symptom of Bitcoin Derangement Syndrome.
Follow what you passionately believe in, but donβt let it consume you. And if you need reassurance that not giving in to emotions is the right path, just look at the history of everyone who fell to BDS (Roger Ver probably being the most famous example).
In the long run, it's far better to focus on your proof of work than on "fixing" what others are doing.
