My basic breakfast in Columbia this morning. It's always astonishing and alarming how food tastes so different outside the US—beef, coffee, bread, fruits, vegetables, and even mustard. I don’t think most Americans grasp how messed up our food supply is. 
Who gives a shit about the gender, race, or sexual orientation of anyone doing a job but ESPECIALLY a skilled job where they are responsible for peoples’ lives
One of my son’s friends who is a born and raised local said to me, “Can I give you some advice Ms Susie? You need to loosen up your shaka; it’s way too tight. Shaka needs to be free with barely curled fingers. Just chill with it and you’ll see.”
