After some guidance from a kind #nostr bro I was able to open a lightning channel with Zeus today. What a nice and useful piece of software. Are the Zeus devs on Nostr? Today was my first time using a non-custodial Lightning wallet. The LN seems to work nicely, it feels powerful and reliable. Nostr pushing me out of my comfort zone and has me exploring parts of the #bitcoin stack I haven’t used yet. Impressed and bullish.

People may not realize but #cannabis cultivation was always a global decentralized movement that simply disobeyed immortal laws and literally overwhelmed (illegitimate) authority with action. Supply meeting demand in a voluntary decentralized / uncoordinated way despite unjust demands of ruler Anarcho-capitalism in motion. I think the same may be happening with dark markets being build on #nostr and #bitcoin. If there are enough market participants who are refusing to comply with local regulatory and tax rules then enforcement of those rules will become impossible at scale. Individuals choosing to ignore illegitimate authority and engage in voluntary economic interactions as a way to improve their our own lives. This is what I see happening. This what I practice.
