The footage is believed to be from a 1968 cruise, this being the only known instance of him playing Rachmaninoff.
Have a quick noon espresso with an 18-year-old Krystian Zimerman playing Chopin's Mazurka at the 1975 Chopin Piano Competition. He also won the competition, thus becoming the youngest winner of the first prize. ☕

A few pictures from Juan-Les-Pins, where every year there's "Jazz à Juan", a famous festival that dates back to 1960. This year, it takes place from July 9 to July 19. If you have kids and don't want to pay the tickets, the venue is right at the park and you can listen to the music for free, with a bottle of wine, while the little ones are having a good time too.
