Today I say goodbye with Maxim Vengerov playing Eugène Ysaÿe's Sonata No. 3 in D minor, Op. 27, No. 3, "Ballade". A new fact for me about this solo sonata, one of his six, is that it was written for George Enescu.

I'm not a fan of André Rieu and I can't even tell why. That being said, one extraordinary moment was when his orchestra accompanied Emma Kok singing "Voilà".

Since June 21, Edward Clug's "Ein Sommer Nachts Traum" ("Midsummer Night's Dream") has been performed again by the Staats Ballett Berlin. The main reason I'm interested is because of the visuals, someone went above and beyond to create a big leap.
