For today's noon coffee, André Rieu and the Johann Strauss Orchestra performing "O Fortuna" from Carl Orff's "Carmina Burana". Although it was recorded at the Amsterdam Arena, Rieu built a replica of Vienna's Schönbrunn Palace as a stage. 🥂

We begin the week in style with Sergei Krylov playing Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D minor, BWV 565. Although it was written for organ, the violin reveals whole new layers. 👏 Have a great day!

It's an old video with awful quality. That being said, here's Gilles Apap performing his own cadenza during the third movement of Mozart's Violin Concerto No. 3 in G major. Some see it as brilliant, some as pure blasphemy, but I hope you'll have fun with that "soup" of elements, because the cadenza was designed as an unscripted improvisation. Have a great weekend!
