One thing I don’t like of the cinematic adaptation of “The Return of the King” is how they left out completely the point in which Sam decides not to take the ring for himself and left Frodo to his destiny. In the books, he is tempted by the ring with power and glory. However, he decides that he doesn’t care about all of that because he loves is simple life. I lived in the US for one year. As an European, I found many things to be very strange. Not least, “no firearms” signs when entering buildings. But the strangest thing, was learning about credit scores. Basically, if you leave a parsimonious life, earning you salary, spending less than what you earn and save what you can, you will have very low chances of getting a loan or a credit card. However, if you spend a lot, create a lot of debt, have tens of credit cards and so on, you can get whatever you want and you can actually have a good credit score.
