Day 206: Portofino, Italy. Ferry to a bus to a train to Cinque Terre region - beautiful costal towns for the rich and famous / tons of tourists, too. #UltimateWorldCruise 
Day 205: Carrara, Italy. Hop on train to Pisa then to Florence. Met with wife’s cousins for lunch - crazy crowds at Academia so punted on the real David and saw replica instead - Italy in summer is a nightmare. #bitcoin #UltimateWorldCruise 
Day 204: Civitavecchia, Italy - closest cruise ships can get to Rome (5 parked outside today). Bussed in - hit the mandatory fountains, steps, and piazzas - (Trevi off/being cleaned / Navona boarded up), Pantheon, Forum, and Colosseum - all packed with tourists and steamy hot as hell (no time for Vatican City or much else). #UltimateWorldCruise 
Day 203: Naples, Italy. After the mandatory ‘shell’ merchant visit, we sweat our way through Pompeii before returning to the city for lunch and the scene. #UltimateWorldCruise 
Day 202: Siracusa, Sicily, Italy. Archeological Park, Catacombs of St. Lucia, Madonna delle Lacrime, (Sanctuary of Mary’s tears), Temple of Apollo, then a delicious lunch. #UltimateWorldCruise 
Day 201: Valletta, Malta. The walled city was established in the 1500s by the Knights of St. John, a Roman Catholic order. It’s known for museums, palaces, statues, grand churches, shops, and restaurants. #UltimateWorldCruise

Day 199: Kotor, Montenegro. Another quaint walled city on the Adriatic - enjoyed the local EVOO and had a great lunch. #UltimateWorldCruise 
Day 198: Dubrovnik, Croatia. The 16th century OldTown is a must see - especially for Game of Thrones fans but regular tourists will enjoy it as well. #UltimateWorldCruise 
Day 197: Split, Croatia. Great ‘Old Town’ filled with Churches, ancient ruins, plazas, shops, and restaurants plus an eco-tuktuk ride after lunch. #UltimateWorldCruise 
Day 196: Zadar, Croatia. Hour ride out to Krka River National Park for the #waterfall show provided by mo’naych - just gorgeous - then a delicious lunch and a quick stroll through town. #UltimateWorldCruise 
Day 195: Koper, Slovenia. More spelunking today at the UNESCO Site of the Skocjan Caves, rich in local significance and powerful natural beauty, before a quick lunch in the bustling capital city of Ljubljana. #UltimateWorldCruise 
Day 194: Trieste, Italy. Beautiful city lots to see and eat… hit the Grotta Gigante - Its central cavern is 107 m (351 ft) high, 65 m (213 ft) wide and 130 m (430 ft) long, putting it in the 1995 Guinness Book of Records as the world's largest show cave. #UltimateWorldCruise 
Day 193: Ravenna today. Mosaics galore, Churches, museums, Dante’s tomb, and great local wine and food. #UltimateWorldCruise

Day 191: Bari, Italy. Visited Alberobello an ‘illegal town’ from the feudal ages - obligatory light lunch vino tasting - beautiful ride along the promenade in time for 2:30 departure #UltimateWorldCruise 
Day 190: Corfu, Greece. Sorry, Pink Palace- we didn’t make it there but Old Town and the Lighthouse kept us busy during this short visit, until next time… #UltimateWorldCruise.
